Biography
Ahed Tamimi (born 2001) is a Palestinian activist from Nabi Saleh in the West Bank. She gained international attention at age 16 when a video of her slapping an Israeli soldier went viral in 2017. She was imprisoned by Israel for eight months and has since become one of the most visible young Palestinian activists. She continues to advocate for Palestinian rights through social media and public appearances.
